I had Villa finishing 10th this year, as I looked at who they'd lost, looked at Watkins probably going, looked at their first choice 11 and decided they now look bang average, and with European football on top of it, they'd do well to finish above 10th. I see similar traits with how it ended for Emery at Arsenal, looked disinterested towards the end, made some seemingly strange in-game decisions and waiting to be sacked as he couldn't do the job he wanted as at the time the board were foisting players onto him and he couldn't bring in players he wanted like Zaha, he'd be happy to be giving the bullet about now with stock still high.
