FIVE times today I was one game away from 2000 FFS. The fifth time the sound on my laptop went which was really off-putting, no excuses for the other four however. Fast games on chess.com are not for me. I can be in a game with about 25 seconds left and the dreaded 'reconnecting' message comes on. Game gone even though I was clearly winning. So I'm telling you this because I have s.kenbo and Emitdeb registered as Friends on my Chess.com account. Ifound your username mesmerised but I couldn't register you as a Friend. Permissions problem I think.
It's over the board chess for me now. My current chess rating (over the board) is 1950. I'm in a chess club which meets at the Hunting Lodge, 11 Earsdon Road Whitley Bay on Tuesday nights. If any of you live in the area, you're welcome to come along for a game, I might even buy you a pint.

1. We are miles apart in ratings so not really worth playing each other. Is that worth unfriending someone? Not really.

Based on your last couple of posts though, I haven't unfriended you, don't know what happened there, think Swift tuttle said he couldn't even add me, maybe some glitch.

I reached 2000 Blitz yesterday, which is in the top 0.6% of players but not quite top 100k, #114,952 out of 30.8 million players. Rapid top 0.3%, #107,687 out of 74 million players and bullet top 0.4%, #44,368 out of 19.7 million players.

Rapid chess I won 63.6% of games, but only because I started too low down, then when I started Blitz, chess.com started my rating at 2000, same as my Rapid, as it wasn't going to start me at 400, and I finished up on even less than half the games won, 47.5%, and it took me 1749 games to get back to 2000 proper, 830 wins, 106 draws, 813 losses.

Bullet similar, only played 27 games, won 12, drew 2 lost 13, but beat several players over 2000 rating and drew against a 2070 player, was I sitting back with my arms crossed watching an engine draw against a player of that level when stockfish is a 3700 rated engine? no only I could have done, but numnuts who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, or what he's looking at, thinks so. If he actually had a grain of intelligence, he would go through these games, move by move, looking at the eval bar on the left hand side of the chess board going up and down like a Wh***s knickers
