Regbutler, just because something used to be the norm, doesn't make it right or better. I'm all for punishing the diving nonsense, but at the same time player protection needed upped.

Dblyourmoney. I completely agree with you regarding everything in the old days not necessarily being perfect, and some bad tackles went unpunished
I just think it's gone too far the other way, with hardly any physical contact being allowed The diving, and clutching of heads when the player has been brushed on the legs, goalkeepers being awarded a free kick for minimal contact, etc...it just winds old 'uns like me up |

Morocco will need to be a lot better against France, but it should be a far more open game, and the counter attack obviously suits their style.
I was disappointed in Hakimi. A number of mistakes, and gave their left side acres. Won't want to do that again. |
