If you'd have backed the draw in every match thus far at the World Cup (72 matches) with level stakes, you'd be showing a profit of 19.1pts.

20 draws altogether, that's with standard bookie prices as well.  Obviously helped with a couple of big 9/1 draws but still, let's see if it continues, will post updates.

Kind Regards.

I've only backed 2 draws so far - Aus v Par, and Aust v Alg

in a 9/2 double

so take out the 2 shock results, over 70 matches its pretty much break even. All of the profit came from those 2 matches

The new format changes this a bit, as we saw with Australia vs Paraguay and Austria vs Algeria. In a 16 or 32 teams draw it's much less likely there will be matches where the draw favors both teams in the final round. Let's also be happy the Americans allowed it and didn't introduce penalty shootouts in the group stage since they hate draws.
