Since the GK is in front of the last defender, the 2nd to last defender becomes the offside line. Even though it's the correct decision, it was a crazy marginal call to lose out by. Couldn't help but feel sorry for them after their wild celebrations!

Seriously no expert and don't watch much football to be honest, but having watched the recording of that, wouldn't like to think because of the time difference, that I'd be the soccer diehard staying up till the middle of the night watching dross like that. Just totally dire.. |
