It is dire analysis. Endlessly asking "how did England not win that game", instead of thank god that ref gifted us a point.

The ref analyst does have a Friend of Dorothy vibe

the ghana boy didn't help himself.  did he even claim ?  should've been straight back on his feet running after the ref giving him the VAR sign.

just got up, yeah chopped me down with a flying leap from behind, nowhere near the ball.

nothing worth claiming there.

A very Southgate performance but should still top the group. More important not to lose it than to win it. Crossing balls in all night was clueless. Needed to draw them out a bit on the counter and then hit them quickly but pinned them in and played like Arsenal in possession.

if you're giving anthony gordon €346,000 a week you're probably sitting there expecting to watch him giving the ghanarians a masterclass.

Gordon has been manure all season at Newcastle. He gets a pass from the media for scoring a few pens against the Dog & Duck in the Champions league.

In the prem, he has put in zero effort and is a disgrace obviously trying to get a move. His attitude stinks as well. Not a team player.

Its tragic really that someone who was superb like Lewis Hall couln';t make this squad but the likes of Gordon does.

Add in that Konsa looks to be one of the worst defenders in this tournament

A long overdue reality check for England, their supporters and the media.

It was Tuchel who decided we didn't need Palmer or Foden.

And some serious questions need to be asked about the VAR.

Horrible game to watch. Ghana parking the bus and made up with the point though they could have got more if that pen was given. Which it most definitely should have. A wake up call for the champs elect after beating Dads army. SOme poor poor performances out there last night.

Palmer and Foden wouldn't have made any difference in this game, it's a set up that stymies most of the better sides, because unless you are Spain 2010 who could break down low blocks because they were able to pass and move, at pace, dragging everyone around creating space at will, you're stuck.

This is wide Tuchel needs the games to be end to end EPL games, because there is space everywhere and the need for technical excellence is lessened.

We'll be better against a side who want to attack us but will still be vulnerable to the counter.
