I don't know what the commentator is on about, 4pts virtually guarantees you being one of the 8 best 3rd place finishers.

It's highly unlikely Uruguay will beat Spain, but not impossible.

didnt see the equaliser. just seen it. unbelievable. what was muslera doing. if you saw that in a sunday league match youd **** yourself laughing at the incompetence of it, and this is a 100+ cap international keeper.

They don't need to beat Spain, a draw and they will most likely go through, Spain won't be going at it full on either, a draw for Uuguay and a CV win and Uruguay probably go through and avoid Argentina. We've seen Spain struggle against a low block, if Uruguay play for a draw there is every chance they'll get it.

The commentator, whoever he is, is an incompetent fool. Trying to tell us 4 points won't be good enough in this group to go through. Where does he come up with this clearly wrong statement. Where do they dig them up from?

Uruguay will be going for it as finishing top probably means facing Austria

Though finishing 3rd could mean facing Iran if they top their group, but could also mean facing Mexico in the Azteca, England or France.

Did the commentator actually say that, must have meant something else as clearly that's waffle.

at the moment they have 2 points. So, a draw against Spain would give them 3 points, which may, or may not be enough.
By:

When: 22 Jun 26 00:29
Sure he did because I thought 1 of C.V/Saudies can get 4Pts still.
Many saying 4pts should get you through.

if you're talking about Cape Verde, a win against Saudi Arabia would put them through, I think. Plain

four points has at least a 98.9% chance of qualifying for the next round.
By:

Neither Cape Verde nor Uruguay can end up on 4 points. unless I'm mistaken.

There is a lot of interest in Ireland in Cape Verde in the World Cup.
Pico Lopes plays (very well) for Shamrock Rovers, Ireland's top team (I expect that will be disputed Happy)
