The only rule that should be brought in is if someone gets a yellow is taken off player coming on gets the yellow

You can't have a rule whereby teams are encouraged to commit tactical sendings off, you wait until a player catches one on the line and see what happens...crazy IMO.
Guy racing clear on goal and you drag him down before he gets to the penalty area and it's a free kick, you'll never get the rule changed to make it a penalty, and a replacement player for the guy sent off!!! I'm out on that.

mes, you've got to punish red card offences, if it ruins the game in some way that's too bad, you can't say to the team offended against, I'm sorry but we want to keep it competitive so you have to suck it up, the offended against are entitled to gain an advantage.

Deliberately denying a goal scoring chance is a red - replaced by sub
Violent conduct such as pushing your head or hand against another players face/head is red - replaced by sub
Deliberately trying to break someone's legs is red card - not replaced by sub
That's simply how you get around it, you make that exception so nobody's going to go around trying to break other players legs, especially considering you'd probably get a lengthy ban, lose personal sponsorship as you're not on the pitch and not to mention reputational damage.
Look at how many millions would have tuned out of that game last night at 3-0 down to 10 or 9 men, broadcasters/sponsors/advertisers paying big bucks to have people switch off in droves? Don't think so.

I know that History is not your strong point mes, but the Dark Ages were a period in Europe between the 5th - 14th centuries.
The back pass to the goalkeeper did not exist then.
