What we are looking at here, at least on paper, is a Champions League level team always reaching the knockouts, v Europa League level team, but as we have seen with Japan against England in a recent friendly, is that they are capable of punching above their weight, they do this with their high press and relentless energy - rather than great technical ability.

I have this down as a draw, think Holland's backline could be run ragged but will have enough going forward to compensate.

Kind Regards.

There's only two decent players in that Holland side, again these big sides are not what they once were, fully expect the samurai blues to run this lot ragged,

I can see this being low scoring. When Japan played England I said they were toothless, but ended up with a certain amount of egg on my face as Japan won. I still see them creating a lot without scoring much. Holland always flatter to deceive, and are rarely the force that they are perceived to be. My bet is 1-1, with some cover on 2-1 either team. Holland might have more recognisable players, but Japan will probably handle the conditions better.

Holland made a strong start, but they often do that, and fade later, let's see.

Often in past Finals the 2 teams perceived to be the strongest in the group will settle for a draw against one another, counting on beating the weaker teams. But the extra teams and 3rd place qualifying thing makes it a bit harder to call. Although that's how it turned out last night with Brazil - Morocco.

Ally McCoist. Drives me mad. Can't understand half of what he says and spends half his time going

on about matches from the 1980's etc.

Forgot it was under the roof. So, maybe Japan won't have the advantage of hotter conditions suiting them better.

The draw price in the Ivory Coast/Ecuador game is not that far off being favourite, incidentally don't think I've ever seen a game go off in the World Cup with the draw being the shortest price.

I'm listening on radio, can't stand McCoist. Has he said "I will tell you this!" yet? or "I don't mind telling you!"? or "absholutely"?

Yeah, you know a game is in need of a pre-KO goal when the draw is trading under 3 Crazy
