Do it for 1 game you have to do it for all.

so we've had 1 penalty kick in 7 games?
also, it feels like the game flows better than in recent big championships. Not that many VAR checks. Have we just been lucky these first 7 games?

Scotland got there in the end..but what a damn STRUGGLE it was! Can't possibly envisage anything other than 2 convincing defeats for them in the next 2 matches.

Haiti certainly had more urgency about them, granted they needed it as they were chasing the game from early on. But it also highlights why many Scotland fans aren't having Clarke. His pragmatic approach is simply pathetic.

Ok, only the hardcore remain. Who's here for Australia v Turkeys?

Looking forward to this 1. The Turks have the class but the Aussies are battling bastards! BTS at EVS looks sweet enough for me to take.

Not sure what to bet here. I'll watch for a bit and see how it's going.

Australia don't have any good players but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

No European teams in this game though.

1-0 HT. I'm losing hope for overs. Turkey are hugely overrated. They won't even get out of this group.

Bit harsh. Aussies in protect mode since the goal. Not easy to find free spaces and create chance after chance against these type of battling, well organized sides. With their possession and positional dominance, The Turks are still good for at least a goal though, and Aussies will continue to carry a pacy break threat. BTS and overs are far from lost. Keep the faith.

A lot of people were hyping them up. They look very average here.

btw almost ALL sides will look average against this type of block. With so much dominance, all you can do is be as measured and clinical as possible with the decent openings you manage to create. The Turks ain't managed it well enough so far.

The stats are embarrassing for Scotland though, how does the Haitian side who are the second worst in the tournament by ranking, have more of the ball, more shots, make 60 more passes, have more corners and an even goal expectancy - 1.04-05.

If the same Morocco turns up against Scotland as they did against Brazil, hard to see how Scotland will cope especially if Clarke adopts a 'containment' approach.

Kind Regards.

I thought Scotland were a little lucky to win ,but I have watched them in WC finals since 1974 and today was the 1st bit of luck they have ever had. I still think they have a hard job to be 1 of the best 3rd placed teams. The Brazil Morocco draw was bad news for scotland.
