I'm especially pleased for Paterson, his appointment was heavily criticised by some but he's proved those critics wrong. The Danish owners saved the club from extinction and have turned things around, now with two promotions, it will be interesting to see how they will rebuild for the new season.

Thought County were a GOOD BET at the start of the season for promotion. So happy I left the bet go at the start of the season and did not follow up. However, fair play, they were up and down all season, when it was required they gritted it out. Well done Notts County and your fans.

Boy it was hot in the sun. Mrs Clarke came over all lightheaded after 30 mins so we decamped to an air-conditioned restaurant at half time
