This is why fans hate VAR. It's used to manipulate results. They will deny it, but VAR has far too much influence on results.

utter nonsense. fair enough give it but give the 784 exactly the same in every match. Shameful.

I feel for West Ham fans, but today is not the reason they're going down (looks like), it's poor signings and it's getting rid of David Moyes (again), who must be having a wry smile to himself, all the fans wanted better football, but they ended up with a continental version of David Moyes in Nuno anyway. Gold has to sell up and go, though the club are going to be worth far less now in the Championship.

Replace last minute drama like Agueros goal with todays version of it VAR. Foul or not on the keeper they decide which way they want it to go then ignore everything else that was going on in the penalty area.

1st day of the season, Saliba grabs Man Utd keepers arm during a cross.
Ball ends up in the net - goal allowed and 3pts gained

From the front view his arm was definitely across the keeper, that isn't disputed. From the back view it appears he was holding the Raya's arm too, making the decision a correct one.

Not sure why you would try and catch it in that situation, could have easily punched it out.

Uptheirons the West Ham supporter.

Incidentally, the only Hammer's fan that doesn't know that the home ground was referred to as Boleyn Ground having purportedly claimed links with the namesake Anne.

Leif:
If you'd ever endured the misfortune of visiting the old Boleyn ground area you'd be cognizant of the knuckle draggers calling themselves, 'fans'

It was a foul. No doubt.

But there were two Arsenal players committing fouls in the box as well - Trossard and Rice.

VAR is a good idea but the way it's implemented is shockingly bad...

Not sure why we have 3 or more minutes of the VAR panel looking at it then ask the ref to go to the screen. Should just have someone say theres a possible foul to the ref go and have a look.

Once VAR decided it was a foul on the Raya, that's it a free kick, all the other holding etc doesn't matter. Apart from the arm across the chest, from another camera his shirt was being pulled from behind as well. Result tough on West Ham.

Depents on what happened before the foul on Raya, or should do.

They may have looked at it, but we don't know because
