Struggling to agree with that Emit. Forest are not safe yet and can ill afford to take risks so the question should be, what is their priority?
Of course, another European trophy would be nice, but survival is also key.
I feel they will just play both games as they normally would and try to win them both, or at least get a positive result out of them both. I would be shocked if they were as weak as Villa.

Financially, it means more staying in the Premier League, even if they won the Europa League and got Champions League next season.
WH need 4 points to trouble Forest, not sure where those are coming from.. Marinakis forest owner is crazy enough to know in all probability 100% effort today means 0 points and zero chance @ Villa..

To be fair to Rossignor, he was a bit of a David Brent, but the issues at Chelsea are much deeper than that.
I doubt Chelsea will be so accomodating when Spurs visit in the next couple of weeks.

These American owners haven't got a clue what they're doing.
They're signing players up on 10 year contracts, allowing players to feel very comfortable, there's a reason why clubs only usually offer 3-4 years at a time, it keeps players on their toes.
They also have practices that allow medical staff to not ask, but tell the actual manager when he has to bring a player off, as they did with Maresca when he played Palmer, then the crowd not knowing this would yell "you don't know what you're doing", could you imagine someone telling Ferguson when he had to bring a player off!
They also caused massive disharmony amongst the players by banning Fernandez for 2 games, talk about cutting your nose to spite your face, they could have got away with saying he'll just miss the Port Vale match which he probably wouldn't have played anyway, but to actually ban him for the City game when they were chasing a Champions League spot and the money at stake that goes with it! And yet they let Cucurella off scott free after he basically said the owners didn't know what they were doing.

Spent billions of pounds but are below Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton.
Because Sporting directors are choosing the players and decided who to sell, no self respecting manager of calibre will go there.

I thought exactly the same as the OP in truth.
I also thought Chelsea were a shoe in today against a likely changed and rested Forest side.
Villa cost me a treble yesterday and Chelsea have cost me today. Just a wrong call.
