Man City hitting 5th gear towards the end of a season as usual, Arsenal players are in straitjackets, they'll will go to the Etihad with the handbrake on, like they did at Anfield earlier in the season looking for a draw and got beat. 1.88 maybe not great value but it looks like free money to me.

Would be amazed if Arsenal get anything from this game, given the way they are currently playing. The "straitjacket" analogy is spot on and if somehow they blow the league this season, difficult not to pin it on Arteta.

Much preferred the way Arsenal played in 2023/24, even though they just failed against City who were unbeaten in 23 games from mid-Dec, dropping only eight points.

Yeah, I said it months ago that Arteta's desperation would end up costing Arse the title. I still don't trust this City side to go on a win it though. They've been incredibly flaky for large parts of this season.

Weird how different punters view possible outcomes. I think Man City have hit form and are playing miles better that Arsenal atm. Expecting an easy win for them today.

The one thing we can pretty much say for certain, is that Arteta won't go for the jugular. If they did, imo, they give themselves a much better chance, but for some unknown reason, he won't play like champions should. Shame really, because it would considerably increase their entertainment value and give Pep something to think about.

Nevertheless, I'm expecting Arsenal to be as tight as they've ever been and if it pays off, a draw is not beyond reason, keeping Arsenal in the driving seat.

I don't like Arteta. I don't like his smugness. I don't like his antics on the touchline, And I don't like his weird hair. So, my subjective and unbiased opinion is that Arsenal should've had it won by now, but somehow they've faltered badly and let this inconsistent City side back in, and don't deserve to win the Title.

Everything points to a City win today. Arsenal are scared and City are purring. If you had to bet before the off then City have to be the bet at coming up to evens. Football is a funny game though, Arsenal are obviously very capable of much better and scuppering that bet. Could be wise to wait in play to see how the teams settle.

If recent performances are anything to go by, I wouldn't be surprised if City are poor first half, raising Arsenal hopes that they can get at least a point that would probably be enough to put them in the box seat. Then a transformed City side blow them away in the 2nd half.

Man City XI: Donnarumma, Nunes, Khusanov, Guehi, O'Reilly, Silva, Rodri, Doku, Cherki, Semenyo, Haaland

Arsenal XI: Raya, Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie, Odegaard, Eze, Zubimendi, Rice, Madueke, Havertz.

I'm not as impressed by City as the media are, but they need to win and might have enough. HT 0-0 FT 2-0.

Donnarumma prone to blunders these days. I can see why PSG got rid, even though he did well for them last season.

In recent games Guardiola has managed to lift City's level after Half Time. He'll need to repeat the trick again here, or the Title will be Arsenal's.
