Rose turned it around nicely, great to see.
Can't understand how he is only 1/2 to win.
Seems he should be much shorter.
We're talking a collapse of Norman or Van de Velde proportions and he is a better golfer than them.
Maybe it is the quality of the field in the Top 10 leaderboard that is holding his price up.

I guess it's just the difference between 18 holes left and 36
He has the largest 36 hole lead ever and 5 of the 6 guys, who had 5 shot leads at 36, went onto win.
(and of them, only Nicklaus is better than Rory)

Good one. A bit unlucky as tied 2nd at halfway would expect him to be around 7/1 normally. I backed Rose & Lowry and was happy with what they've done but both now bigger odds than I took.

When Burns did well at pebble beach I backed him for masters
and open, as this year's open course has great correlation
to pebble beach.
Burns looked like being a really good player a couple
of years back, but hit a bit of a lull, and early season
form suggested to me he might be returning.
He was chit hot putter, but I'm not seeing that with
him this week, could easily be closer to Rory than
he is. But of course, crucially, he is not.
Still hopeful for open, that he gives it a blast.
Gonna need to risk it to catch Rory, and Rory can coast
to 69 x 2 and likely nobody catches him...

Saturday pins are generally tougher than Sunday.
Sunday is set up for somebody to really have a blast if
they play top golf.
So get within 4 tomorrow to give it a good go Sunday.
