I like Rice but his limitations would be obvious if he had to mark a world-class player..

I thought rice did well v real last season, just about
MOTM x 2 in 1/4 final.

Psg were on a wave in semis

Rice is a lovely player, can do anything, maybe 6 isnt
his favourite position, but paucity of quality 6s that
are not burnt out in 2 seasons sees him utilised there.

Last evening commentators were elevating Rice to World’s best at what he does, whatever that means.

I like him but he isl not that player.

I'd pretty much agree with them, there may be a couple
or so better destructive 6s, but he isnt far off and better
on ball than any of those so he probably is about best at what
he's tasked to do.

Win league early (?!!) , get a rest and hopefully see how he gets on
in champs league and then World Cup.
