It's not as if he doesn't know how to play more expansively - we did so 22/23 season.

Agreed, he seems to be in grip fear that he might not win a trophy again. It might work int he PL as so many teams play negatively against them, but no way will that work in the CL. I still maintain Arsenal players look tired and have done for a while now. 46 game of the season and playing every three days for three months now.
