Groin, and problems coping with being long term injured
but able to play at 95% or whatever. And he reckons
he's overthinking it.

Yes, one of the very few instances of someone needing a hair transplant whilst they actually still have hair.

Something not quite right up top imo.  All the talent going too.

Chelsea would rather have palmer playing for an hour a match at less than a 100% than having him out for a couple of months at least after surgery
Report SirNorbertClarke February 8, 2026 11:33 PM GMT
So young Cole is likely to have surgery to have his groin fixed as soon as Chelsea's season is over
Report LoyalHoncho February 8, 2026 11:39 PM GMT
Is he having to take injections to play do you know?
Report lurka February 9, 2026 1:16 AM GMT
IMO he's got the same type of nasty injury Lamal had - pubalgia or osteitis pubis. Apparently very common amongst soccer and hockey players, although I only heard about for the first time when my mate got it in his 40s and I've been playing all my life.

As lurka mentioned it , the only rumour ive seen is it is athletic pubalgia , I would expect chelsea would want him to have surgery after the season ends .

Report LoyalHoncho February 9, 2026 7:21 PM GMT
I hope he is not taking injections in order to play.  Career shortening stuff that.
Report layingisthewayforward February 9, 2026 7:27 PM GMT
He'll be going to the world cup as soon as his Chelsea season is over.
Report kincsem February 9, 2026 8:16 PM GMT
