IMO he's got the same type of nasty injury Lamal had - pubalgia or osteitis pubis. Apparently very common amongst soccer and hockey players, although I only heard about for the first time when my mate got it in his 40s and I've been playing all my life.

As lurka mentioned it , the only rumour ive seen is it is athletic pubalgia , I would expect chelsea would want him to have surgery after the season ends .
