Dragusin starts for Spurs. Ugh. Starting XI: Vicario, Dragusin, Palhinha, Xavi, Bissouma, Udogie, Gray, Romero (c), Solanke, Gallagher, Kolo Muani.

Substitutes: Kinsky, Rowswell, Byfield, Souza, Sarr, Olusesi, Kyerematen, Odobert, Tel.
Report Crisp77 February 1, 2026 3:27 PM GMT
The starting point for a phase of play that leads to a goal or penalty incident will be limited to the immediate phase and not necessarily go back to when the attacking team gained possession.

Other factors for consideration will be the ability of the defence to reset and the momentum of the attack.

Manchester United have won all seven of their Premier League games in which they have had less than 45% possession this season (42.4% v Fulham today). By contrast, they have won just four of 17 league games when having 45% or more possession in 2025-26 (D8 L5)

Opta, lol.

Report duffy February 1, 2026 6:13 PM GMT

Report sofaking February 1, 2026 6:15 PM GMT
If they had any sort of stiff competition I'm sure they'd bottle it yet again. But City and Pool have been rubbish and Villa miles off being ready to challenge. So Arse win by default.

Blimey, Spurs like night and day in the 2nd half. I think City must have got complacent. The second Spurs goal was excellent. Arsenal put in a decent performance yesterday and if they do go on to win the PL, will have done so by being the best team by far.
Report duffy February 1, 2026 6:40 PM GMT
City can no longer monopolize possession and slowly squeeze the life out of you waiting for a mistake, even when they used to do that they would give you a chance on the counter, now the counters just come around more often, they look really disjointed.
Report duffy February 1, 2026 6:43 PM GMT
I don't think City were complacent, that was just them, they had a couple of good moments but never really controlled the game, as soon as Spurs got at them they looked flaky, Haaland once again a spectator.
Report lurka February 1, 2026 7:18 PM GMT
Don't know how they gave that first one to Solanke. His shot wasn't 'on target' - it didn't even have enough power behind it to get to the goal. On target in 2 dimensions but not 3.

OG all day long, not a foul on Guehi either. Fair play to Spurs. 4 points off City.
