This Brentford are a decent wee outfit. Frank was highly overrated there...they're just a very well run football club. Now Spurs are stuck with this imposter on huge wages.

Watching Spurs feels like a slow rancid death unfolding right in front of you. For some reason I was hoping they would put in a shift today. Man City look like they can score at will, should be hatful of gaols for them today.

If they had any sort of stiff competition I'm sure they'd bottle it yet again. But City and Pool have been rubbish and Villa miles off being ready to challenge. So Arse win by default.

Blimey, Spurs like night and day in the 2nd half. I think City must have got complacent. The second Spurs goal was excellent. Arsenal put in a decent performance yesterday and if they do go on to win the PL, will have done so by being the best team by far.
City can no longer monopolize possession and slowly squeeze the life out of you waiting for a mistake, even when they used to do that they would give you a chance on the counter, now the counters just come around more often, they look really disjointed.
I don't think City were complacent, that was just them, they had a couple of good moments but never really controlled the game, as soon as Spurs got at them they looked flaky, Haaland once again a spectator.
Don't know how they gave that first one to Solanke. His shot wasn't 'on target' - it didn't even have enough power behind it to get to the goal. On target in 2 dimensions but not 3.
