only 7 - how he can let all that go on at the corner is beyond me

That Eze looks ordinary.. imo.
|
|
By:
Not totally convinced they'll blow the league, based on the inconsistency of the chasing pack, as previously mentioned, but it'll give their bottle a run for its money, that for sure.

Gotta give Carrick a contract.. Best Utd I've seen in years...
|
|

City can't be trusted to capitalise. They're consistently dropping very silly points. Saka is highly overrated, he rarely scores or assists. He wouldn't get any attention if he was a pasty ginger lad.

Arteta needs sacking. How many times has he folded in the last few Years? He's making the impossible - ie not winning the league this year - become entirely possible AGAIN. Only this time there are no realistic challengers!!

5 yrs
100,s of millions spent and 2 scrambled goals and ben white hoisting balls in to the box, arteta havnt improved arsenal an inch |

A bit harsh on saka, but he's having a poor season by his standards.

Great call Aspro (10.47).
|
|
By:
Thanks er. They looked a different team against City, almost Fergie-like, so I felt they could give Arsenal a run for their money. Carrick looking good in the role.

there isnt a big game that saka hasnt failed to

Can't say I've kept tabs sofa, but that is quite surprising and, as you say, damning.

Arsenal are bottlers.
They lack a winning mentality when they really need a result. |

Good evening Wes, respect for turning up. Still yours to lose but a tough 3 games to climb out of.

Dr Tottenham not far away though

I always give a fair assessment.
We don't relish pressure. Very brittle mentality. |

Ars*nal almost as bad up front as Spurs. Mickey and Romero more effective up front than Gyokeres and Saka.

No cutting edge final 3rd.
I've said before, we're just least bad team in the EPL. It really is shocking this year. |

If those two were played up front sofa, they'd probably give Kane and Son a run for their money

Michael Keane at Everton is often cited as the best finisher in training at the club, i was saying earlier in the season he could do better than our strikers
![]() Talking of goal scoring centre backs, Derek Mountfield scored 10 goals in the toffees 84/85 title romp and added 4 more in cup games that season. Not a bad return. |
|
By:
who,d want to be a forward, have the ball upfield for arsenal when your manager and team mates would rather you won a corner than try and create something

0-1 Leeds

By:
All Leeds first 30 mins

Awful first half from the toffees. Leeds deservedly in front. Missing Grealish already, we are offering nothing going forward at the moment.
Changes will need to be made early in the second half or its another home defeat by the look of it. |
|
By:
glad I stopped betting against Leeds
|
|
By:
1-1 a fair result methinks, EFC nearly won it but Leeds deserved a point, if they had kept on the front foot 2nd half may well have had all three. Credit to Moyes for making early subs and changing shape. Barry now in a good run of form so maybe a new striker isn't really needed after all.
