Another 4 home wins, all going to form by the look of things.
Merry Christmas all, back on Boxing Day.

In the first two games of the day, I have laid both Zimbabwe and South Africa. Maybe a little boring and predictable, but I can't see any problems. The third game of the day looks like one I'm going to skip, and I'll look at the last game later. Hope you all had a great Christmas Day and good luck with your bets, whether it be football, horses or anything else that tickles your fancy.

These officials seem to be in thrall to the VAR tech, decisions are taking far too long. Some of them pretty obvious as well.

Commentators don't help, and it took too long

But it's a correct decision by var, ref made 2 errors.

Why were the south african defenders just passing the ball and then standing still no overlap to cross. Very lame

Glad you finally got a winner today, ABBA. I hope it covers some of the damage done today!

There may be goals in the Nigeria v Tunisia game, perhaps over 1.5 is the bet again. Under 2.5 seems more risky than the odds imply so I won't be doing that this time.

Algeria play Burkina Faso tomorrow, there could be a few goals in that one too.

There was no damage done today i was just livid with so  many good horses brought to the course with no intention of winning last two days.

bet365 have got Equatorial Guinea not to qualify out the group at 5/6, think there's some juice in that
By:

When: 28 Dec 25 10:55
Maybe. I expect EG will beat Sudan today, Burkina Faso won't have an easy ride against Algeria and it will probably come down to the last round with EG playing an already qualified Algeria. Are third placed qualifiers counted in the bet 365 rules?

Equatorial Guinea are one of the hottest teams in the tournament Plain

Sparse crowds undermine the credibility of this event
When you can literally count the people in a section, it confirms:

The pricing is wrong

The marketing is wrong

The organisers misread the audience

Africa demonstrating it is decades behind the rest of the world in hosting sporting events.

According to this report CAF will be distributing 32 million USD during AFCON.
I don't think the money comes from African peasant farmers. Try sponserships, broadcasting rights, hospitality, FIFA.

Gabon 2-3 Mozambique. Another 5 goals and a win for the underdog.

Next up is Equatorial Guinea v Sudan. This game is a must win for both.
I'm going for over 1.5 goals @ 1.79

Under 2.5 for me here, for sure - a point could well be ok for both sides, but just need to avoid losing.

Defences lined up I reckon.
