He missed deliberately but didn't tell the keeper. Look at keepers reaction after saving, not one of I knew that was coming. You dont make your top scorer and best player miss then have to take them off because of them missing.....Deliberately. |

The pen shout was odd.
Everyone played on as normal, because there was nothing in it - a great clearing header. No-one noticed Then, sometime later, Brahim Diaz seemed to get word from the bench to go ballistic, which he did, which led to protests, then VAR, then the ref to the TV |

Ref should have ordered the penalty to be taken while Senegal were off field. If they choose not to put someone in goal so be it.

Diaz will be sick as a parrot. The whole thing was set up for him to dive. He did and got the decision he was looking for, but it still blew up in his face.

The whole thing was odd
As mentioned not sure it would have even be looked at by VAR until Diaz went completely mental, I thought ref was going to send him off. Next minute ref is going to the monitor. Then what took place after that was even more bizarre. |
