Ref calls match off 30 minutes before kick off
Visiting manager ,age 38 ,head butted by another man ,age 42, subsequently arrested by police
No idea who the offender is, but injured manager taken to hospital

Update...
It seems the arrested man was the home team manager!
Apparently,the 2 managers were on the pitch during the warm ups when the head butting occurred.
With one manager taken to hospital via ambulance and the other taken to the local police station under arrest...the ref decided the match couldn't go ahead!!!
Most of the estimated 600 crowd would already have been in the stadium

Surely each side had “assistants” or even subs. who could have taken over? Presumably he got his fee anyway? Unless of course he thought the ill-feeling might engender itself during play as well.
