you'd think so, but imagine if arsenal drop a few points and chelsea villa palace sunderland chased them, could be an amazing season with no lpool man city or utd

Everton look a decent bet. Newcastle are rubbish away from St James'.

Wow. Pickford with a shocker there. Ball palmed through his own legs

Keeper is a problem position for Tuchel, but there's not much of an alternative really

its not though is it. pickford for england is solid and has been for years

see what your saying though des. pickford for england doesnt seem to make mistakes, but then it helps of course that in most matches he has little to do. unlike at everton

so far this sums man utd and everton up. shocking for man u to lose to ten man everton and for everton to then serve this up at home in the very next match

Lot of premier league sides inconsistent - Newcastle for another!

Pickford didn't come for the ball O'Brien cleared for the corner. The 2nd goal came from it.

Can blame pick ford for first goal.

He chooses to stay home having been pushing with hall.

Thiaw eases a bit of space and even a keeper with full
length arms ain't saving that.

Staying home means defenders need to win ball,
or put enough pressure around it that oppose cant
plaice ball into net.

Newcastle have so much height you really need keeper to
help,... Although of course donnarumma got pelters
for attempting to deal with cross last week at sjp

Sometimes you can't make the right decision...

Spurs have 3 wins from their last 20 home league games.
Good luck.

That was the worst toffees performance since Moyes returned by a country mile. Defence all over the shop with even Pickford making errors. Moyes will be livid with that when you consider how solid they were on Monday with 10 men for most of the match. Gueye's ridiculous self inflicted absence came back to haunt them as the midfield was non existent. Only Dewsbury Hall can hold his head up high.

Newcastle had such a poor away record as well before tonight but they were very comfortable and well deserved winners.

The toffees now have a long trek to Bournemouth on Tuesday and their record there in recent years is abysmal, they need to get their heads sorted out after tonight asap.

Supreme effort Monday, maybe took its toll.

the only reason everton were 'solid' against utd was because they were down to ten men, which changed the mentality completely. down to ten men you know that its just about defending. in this match it wasnt like that.

Sorry tobiasr, completely disagree with that. They would have been just as solid with eleven on Monday, it's all about organisation and of course not making crucial mistakes like they did today.  Conceding inside a minute obviously threw them but there was no excuse for being opened up so often after that.
