An overreaction from myself honcho apologies for giving out, keep you're knowledgeable posts coming, I for one enjoy them,
Despite having reservations about the new boss in Glasgow coming in, I think it's probably unnecessary gamble, but in other ways I'm looking forward to see what it brings. It has been a very interesting season so far, but that is in the past, nothing to do with new lad, it's the future he deals with and the fans need to back him and the club, leave their wee childish spats on back burner, there are football matches to be won, nothing else matters. |

No worries mate. It was a wee bit cheeky I admit but it’s just banter. We had a Chairman once who everybody called the pieman!
![]() If we could only bottle the MON effect or identify it for future use. Some football people just have that indefinable magic of inspiring instant responses from players and squads. The Celtic revival is quite remarkable. Keeping it going is the tough bit coming up. |

See the guy pieman you refer to I'm sure I was in his house nearly 30 years ago, btw for avoidance of doubt I was not in to burgle the residential property, it had loads of Jam Tarts memorabilia on walls, cos i remember saying to my pals WTF is this about ?
I could phone somebody to clarify but I've probably better memory than them. There is too many connections not to be same guy IMO. |

Tension mounting MALAY as tomorrow’s match creeps closer.
If Hearts try to thwart Celtic by containing when they have the ball they’ll get gubbed. They must attack at opportune times and go for it. You don’t survive at Parkhead by not scoring goals. Celtic have to be favs My first impression of the new managers talk not overly positive. Gave me a bit of a whiff of John Barnes trying to be too highbrow. We’ll see.. |

“Dixie” Deans dead. 79. Very colourful Celtic and Motherwell player. One of that bracket of striker who scored for fun but got few caps. R.I.P.

A fine goal scorer for Motherwell and Celtic Honcho, his name cropped up in our Joe Harper discussion the other day.
Given his nickname in honour of my namesake of course. RIP John "Dixie" Deans |

Lawwell resigns his Board position citing family harassment and threats. This follows on from a physical attack on some Board members when they returned to Celtic Park after the Lge Cup Final loss.
The fans responsible should be ashamed of themselves. |
