Seems like a right mess.

Desmond has always struck me as a bit odd. Media in Ireland tout him as some sort of financial messiah.

The reality to me was he was always unwilling to invest in his projects properly to make them a success.....**** etc...

He's the type who likes seeing the account balance going up slowly whilst making minimal investments.

His statement after Rodgers went was bizarre and unprofessional and sending his son out yesterday with a flame thrower shows he has completely lost the plot.

Celtic have been very successful as him majority shareholder, he also put in a lot of money in McCann's takeover, criticism by Celtic fans IMO is seriously idiotic.
I think he is a bit too clever and cool to lose the plot, I don't see Rodgers denying any thing he said, he got money to spend, he authorised the signings, which should have been enough to deal with Dundee and Hearts, and Rodgers not managing they games is the reason for the chaos. However long way to go.

The bitterness of fans interviewed outside was surprising, and consistent.  Are Celtic back to their previous “biscuit tin” mentality?
All this stuff seeps into players mentalities.  Not good for perfs. or results.

A.G.M.s can’t ever begin to address issues if they can’t be held properly.  Shame on those who deliberately sabotaged it.

Agree with some of your points but it did provide a good laugh

Ross Desmond : Of course, we are not blind to our shortcomings. We can communicate better, we can recruit better, we can compete better, but we will do it responsibly, sustainably and always in the best interest of Celtic. Celtic was founded as a club open to all, and we have a tradition of having the greatest fans in the world. We must now protect that reputation that was created over generations. The behaviour of certain sections increasingly brings the club and its fanbase into disrepute. The incident a few weeks ago at the Falkirk match was symptomatic of wider problems. These people are bullies, and they try to hijack the good name of Celtic supporters. We cannot allow them to define who we are. I’m well aware of the target I put on my back when I say this.

He’s right though but he’s just given the Press the biggest talking point of the season.  A core of the Celtic support has become more and more hostile in recent times.  Just what this “Green Brigade” is all about is a mystery.  Presumably many of this younger element created the furore at the meeting.  Crazy stuff which will get Celtic nowhere.

Excellent victory for Celtic, even if there was no disharmony, would still be good.

Robinson has been very bullish about the ability of his players and rightly so, they have been doing well, getting 3 points is grand.

the sense of entitlement from celtic fans annoys me, they are not happy with just winning a match with a great goal,  think ange got his a handed to him in Paisley, when things were actually going well on and off the pitch

Brilliant first touch and tackle ride by McGregor to set up the piledriver.  No doubt about that.
What irony and purely coincidental but St Mirren benefit Celts again.  Love
Massive Hearts support going up the road to Pittodrie as I write.
Which “sheep” will we see today?
Hibs beginning to look the real deal.  Bowie outstanding again yesterday.

Will watch it later.  Everybody “plays for fouls”.  It is endemic in the current game.
Now we’ll see if Hearts are any good, can take this on the chin and move forward.
Impressed with Hibs at present and, of course, the MONMAL effect at Celtic impresses too, and Rangers too on a roll.
Shaping up to be the best Scottish league in years.

Wilfried Nancy is close to being appointed Celtic manager, BBC Scotland has learned.
Talks between the Scottish champions and the French head coach of Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew have reached an advanced stage.

Unprecedented honcho, wee weans flinging toys out the pram, think nobody should challenge them, well you should not watch football then.

When the "new firm" arrived the the celtic and rangers fans recognised these were good TEAMS, with some very talented players, we have challenge here but we have some outstanding players too. Rangers tried to get wee Jim and Fergie but for whatever reason they didn't want the job.

When Celtic nailed Hearts on line 1986 if it went the other way, don't think Celtic fans would have went crazy, it was a good title race, if it pans out this way they don't nail Hearts, they will go crazy, but that is just sense of entitlement, and that's DD problem amongst others.

The window is going to come up in January were the Glasgow teams will be given plenty to spend but I'm not sure it's easily spent wisely, as pre season would suggest, and there is definitely more pressure now coming up on the lads spending and who is signing it off,and that is when mistakes can seriously be made.

The board’s stance under Brendan was straightforward: as long as Celtic finished above Rangers, that was deemed sufficient. Yet with Hearts and Hibs showing improvement and several of Celtic’s Japanese players seeking moves away, the squad now appears in disarray.

Dermot Desmond issued a strong public statement, and the team briefly benefited from a two‑match “new manager bounce,” leading some to believe the situation had stabilised. However, a heavy defeat in Europe followed by an undeserved win against a superior St Mirren side has reinforced the perception among supporters that Celtic have regressed significantly this season. Fans are rightly holding the board accountable for failing to act decisively in the transfer market to maintain or strengthen the squad.

While most critics often label Celtic supporters as ungrateful or hostile, in reality, most simply want their club to succeed domestically and compete credibly in Europe—a perfectly reasonable expectation for a fanbase of their stature.

Great result for Celtic perhaps the squad is not quite as bad as the lunatic fringe of Celtic support on social media make out.
Skip my hat to MON for the steadying of ship for his mate Dermot Desmond, because when BR left Celtic in lurch again, things didn't look good.

brenda making out the squad not good enough to beat kairat who, then o'neill takes the same players away to feyenoord who just might be a little better than kairat and soundly beats them with the same players that could not score in 180 minutes against kairat. brenda looking worse and worse with every passing match.

You get the money you demand if you get CL, which is about a week before the window closes. You don't get that money before Kairat. Rodgers knew this well.

Feyenoord are a lot easier to beat (and to lose to) than Kairat, esp away. Almaty is directly north of central India.

Maybe the SFA could have given them the 3pm Sat game against Livi off with an 8,500km trip for the away leg, you know, in terms of boosting the co-efficient.

Really no interest in lads name, that's not his fault, although remember the brazilian player sheidt Kenny and Digger signed, he did turn out to reflect his name 5 million it was down the swanny.
As I said previously I'm not convinced with this appointment, but I watched an interview from him in MSL media, he's certainly no nancy boy, in fact I think he's a rocket, whether he wins trophies ? I think you will see drama in Scottish football with this lad, he comes across as a very bold lad.
