It was a quite exhilarating match @ Selhurst Park today and that's putting it mildly.
Bournemouth were different gravy to us and completely dominated in the first half but following the break we hit our stride and got back to 2-2. A late Bournemouth goal looked like that was that but we managed to make it 3-3 courtesy of a Mateta penalty and that secured his hat trick. Then, in the very last few seconds of the 8 minutes extra time Mateta had a chance that surely should have been the winner with just the keeper to beat and the goal at his mercy but he fluffed his lines and blazed it over. It was highly entertaining game and with a superb atmosphere all afternoon. A lot of fun indeed.  |
