I shouldn't really gloat because Palace should have had the game won before the toffees equaliser, but it's nice to get a win against the tide now and then.
Palace lined up with almost the same side who lost to Everton 2-1 at SP back in February ( 8 of the starting 11 plus 2 who came on as subs). It has been a bit of a mystery how since then they have morphed in to a very decent side. It must be due to the manager, his tactics and getting the most from his players whilst instilling the utmost confidence in them. They will go on again from here i am sure. I did state on a couple of threads that Everton had an unbelievable recent record against Palace - they have now only lost ONCE in their last 22 EPL meetings with them, won 13 and drawn 8. tongue in cheek comment - it was nice to see the "hugely overrated" Jack Grealish get the winner, even if it was a tad fortunate ![]() |

The bank of Haaland paid out a very generous dividend this week

Never seen a one man team like City before, there's 12 goals Haaland, then a massive drop down to 2 goals for the next highest scorer.

Long Throw-ins While they're not a new invention they do seem to be getting longer and more accurate. It can't be long before we see the first throw-in to the back post!
Are these longer throw-ins down to better training or do the throwers have something on their fingers to give them super grip? |

It was never a penalty, Anderson got the ball before the man.
Just like Bruno G did in the build up to Newcastle's first goal. |

Absolutely gutted, a draw would have been fine but that Everton winner was horrible.

Ref thought it was a pen, VAR thought it was a pen, players put up bare minimal protest, is the long and short of it.
Anderson made zero contact with the ball, highlights on youtube already, you can clearly see he completely missed the ball and made contact with Bruno's foot, Bruno's foot then made contact with the ball but he was taken down by Anderson's other leg for good measure. Anderson barely appealed, did that thing players do when they know they've given a pen away, pretend they're hurt. Other Forest players didn't appeal either. Strange looking pen though, almost like he chipped it but at pace into the corner. Kind Regards. |

You are wrong. Anderson made contact.
Only had 1 bet this weekend, Haaland to score at 1.91. Made up all last week's losses ![]() |

He made no contact, he took Bruno out, clear pen, ref agreed, VAR agreed, no protest from players. Kind Regards.

By:
Looking at the xG, maybe my Man United to finish 4th projection isn't so daft after all. Kind Regards.

mes in recent weeks getting something on the ball before clattering the player has been used in mitigation several times. Indeed it was used in the build up to Newcastle's 1st goal.
