Really?

Feyenoord top of the Dutch league, won 6, drawn 1, score 15, conceded 4. Lost narrowly away to Braga 1-0 in the first Europa game, they always create a great hostile atmosphere over there. Villa have generally been poor all season bar the weekend. Malen started their last Europa game over Watkins and he's looked bang average for Villa so far, I'd guess Watkins would be saved for Burnley in 3 days time.

Kind Regards.

It depends how Villa approach it, does winning that competition still get you a champions league place ? Perhaps they will be thinking about that  and ready to go with that in mind.

I'm out. Very hard to trade the match markets when a large chunk of the miserable £38K matched is yours!

used to follow Pinny on trades. Pinny went 2.29 this avo, but now 2.22. not enough liquidity to follow the movements. now still only £50K matched.

Villa strong team, still they'd do well to get any result.

Villa were very lucky.  Think the original bet was a good one, even though early results in Europe this week suggest the Dutch league is awful.  Some very lucky teams in some of the matches last night.   Strasbourg were 2-0 up at half time in Bratislava yesterday and they'd only had one shot.  Panathinaikos and Stuttgart had 62 shots and 21 corners between them and both lost.

I had Bratislava Panathinaikos and Stuttgart in Fantasy.  Couldn't make it up Sad  Panathinaikos actually got more points for losing than Roma got for winning in week one.

I think that's Villa's 2 hardest games now out of the way and they've won them both, so they should cruise through into the top 8, if they don't take too many liberties.   My only outright PL bet this season was Villa not to finish in the top 6.  Hamstrung by UEFA rules restricting them on transfers and salaries and it shows imo.  This competition prolly their best chance of getting into Europe next season.  Easy to see them prioritising it like Spurs and Man U did last season if they have nowt to play for in the league.
