I am not a golf fan but it was compelling viewing. Reality TV at its best!
I was also compelled to watch the women’s curling final at the Winter Olympics all those years ago along with 10 million other British sports fans. The authorities need to take responsibility for this and also the European Ryder Cup team management. They neglected their duty of care to the the extended team and Golf itself. They are supposed to be custodians of the game. Sport won, Golf lost. |
