Anyone know what the record is for not scoring from the start of the season? Villa must be getting close to it.
|
|
By:
Both teams scored in all seven Premier League games yesterday - the only day in the competition's history that had more games to see every team score was 27th November 2010 (8 games).

Two crap games so far. Hopefully Man City show up in the later game.

The longest run without scoring a Premier League goal was set by Crystal Palace in the 1994/95 season, when they failed to score in nine consecutive games between 19 November 1994 and 2 January 1995, eventually ending their drought against Leicester on 14 January.
Leicester came within a game of matching that in the 2024/25 season when losing eight straight games without scoring before netting twice in a 2-2 draw at Brighton. |

Think Stevenage should read League 2... only promoted a couple of years ago

Villa at 1.64 at HT is ridiculous, even with a Sunderland red card. They haven't even scored a solitary goal all season.
![]() |
|
By:
thought the red was harsh, but Sunderland can still get a point at least. Villa are hopeless.

Not anymore

Absolute shocker by the keeper.

Laid Arsenal here. Not liking that starting lineup
|
|
By:
Lay Arse. I expect some Arseyness here today.
|
|
By:
Looks like Arteta is frightened of his own shadow again, they don't create much through open play and they've got Eze on the bench and merino starting, what did they buy Eze for if not for these games!!!!

Feel sorry for Newcastle's travelling supporters today.

1-1, I reckon. It's not a "must win", but with Liverpool getting all the luck and all the decisions (albeit not playing that well). It will seem like a difficult task for either of them if they don't win.
|
|
By:
Hopefully it's a good game and Arse don't employ their Stoke City-esque tactics.
