Rice was without doubt the best midfielder in Europe last season, we've turned a 100m baller into a  200million baller, not something that happens often.

Not bothered about this award though, I stopped taking it seriously after Jack Wilshere was overlook in 2011 despite clearly being the best midfielder in Europe and tearing Pep's Peak Barca side a new one, he had the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi all falling over themselves to get his shirt after the game.

i have no anti arsenal stance whatsover,i just say things as i see them - just couldnrt believe he was nominated after all as far as i cd see he did sfa last year and arsenal won sfa so seriously surprised he was nominated.
