Chris Davies could hand debuts to a number of summer signings, including goalkeeper James Beadle, right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel and forward Kyogo Furahashi.With Eiran Cashin, Christoph Klarer and Phil Neumann all strong options at the back, Davies has a selection dilemma at the heart of his defence.
Tyler Roberts and Kanya Fujimoto are both expected to miss the opening game of the campaign with injuries.
IPSWICH
Conor Townsend and Jaden Philogene both picked up knocks during the final pre-season fixture and are doubtful for the trip to St. Andrew's on the opening weekend.
Left-back Leif Davis also missed that game with a knock, while Harry Clarke is facing an extended period on the sidelines with a knee injury.
These absences could pave the way for 40-year-old Ashley Young to make his debut at left-back.

There were some old fashioned tackles and the ref was like a rabbit in the headlights so that’s probably why it was suspending.
I only watched the 2nd half but from what I saw ipswich were much the better team.
IT really missed Delap.
