brum 0nly 9,s to finish above 3 relegated EPL clubs, shocking odds IMO,without even taking in to accout the experienced championship club, would make one of relegated championship clubs certainties to win div one

I can see why Birmingham are amongst the favourites in the Championship, the feel good factor is back and they have made some decent signings in the close season including Demarai Gray who on his day is a cut above this level.
Luton are justifiable favourites for League One, i cannot see them failing to go back up. Might back them on the handicap. In Division Two, MK Dons are a very short price when one considers how bad they were last year. I will swerve them and have an interest in my local team Gillingham, who looked very solid after Gareth Ainsworth took over for the last couple of months last season, they have added Sam Vokes upfront whose experience could be invaluable. 12/1 is available which looks fair value. |

PREMIER LEAGUE HANDICAPS (ALREADY
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() )Newcastle (+15) Man United (+21) Man City (+3) Liverpool (scr) Nottingham Forest (+32) Sunderland (+52) Aston Villa (+22) West Ham (+35) Tottenham (+22) Leeds (+43) Fulham (+33) Brentford (+38) Bournemouth (+32) Wolves (+39) Brighton (+27) Burnley (+51) Everton (+33) Crystal Palace (+33) Chelsea (+12) Arsenal (+3) Would definitely not play: Sunderland, Burnley, Leeds, Everton, Fulham, Brighton, Wolves, Brentford, C Palace and Bournemouth - all need much greater starts! Would seriously consider being against: Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa and Notts Forest - all need a few extra points start! Leaves me with: 1 Newcastle +15 2 Man Utd +21 3 Man City +3 4 Arsenal +3 5 Liverpool SCR Any Views? |

Woooo it's like my birthday
![]() Although, on first glance, I don't like anything there. Can Liverpool get 100 points, Arsenal 97? UTD 79? Hmmmm, I can't see it. Newcastle and Chelsea could be plays, but then i think you're asking them to challenge for the title |
By:
I think there's a world where Spurs get around 75 points, so wouldn't be too against spurs with +22
By:
forest look interesting at plus 32 but can they repeat last years form
fulham plus 33? |
By:
fulham could have potential. 63-65 points and they're in the race. Would need to pick up 10 points from last season.
By:
Could we see another lowly ranked team "do a Forest"? By the way, Elanga & Gibbs-White are leaving Forest, so I'm not confident in them. Leeds with 53-55 points would go close, but that seems a big ask for a newly promoted team. Will keep an eye on them in the transfer window, as they could spend fairly big
By:
I like palace at +33 as they're moving in the right direction -- Cup win gives them confidence, great team, great manager, etc. But looks like they will lose Eze hmmm

Meant to do this a couple of weeks ago, price shortened now...
Chelsea 11/10 top 4 with Gillingham 5/4 top 7 for a decent season long bet Also done both teams to win respective divisions at 9s and 12s for smaller With bet356 Will post another couple of season bets before the start Gl all |
By:
guys where can I find this handicap betting? thanks
By:
Evening foyles
Bet356 have Chelsea plus 12...all teams are 15/1 Under Premier league outrights, handicap |
By:
yeah just found it reg thanks .......be a b,stard to work out the points each week I'd imagine reg .
By:
I write down all the handicap starts for each team as I place the bet
Then, by about Xmas you can narrow it down to about 4 teams usually...perhaps a couple with shorter starts, 1 with a medium start, and 1 with a big start If you're still in by then, just need to concentrate on those teams each week |
By:
They do one on the Exchange , but its not usually put up till a week or two before the season starts.
By:
Cheers stringy, thought there usually was one
By:
Man City +3 looks OK to me just at a glance and comparing to the points totals that the spread firms have each team in for antepost
As for outright league winners, did fancy Birmingham to continue their momentum and they've signed well IMO but I was kind of hoping the double figures would last. Market isn't rating them far off Ipswich when you look at how the match odds priced up for Gameweek 1 think MK Dons should win L2 quite comfortably given level of investment over the summer and experienced coach, there's no real depth to the league can put a **** paper between many of the clubs League 1 quite hard to call but I think Luton will likely be up there, however I don't think Cardiff and Plymouth will. Must be some value in the Conference as well, don't really fancy Carlisle at 5/2 |
By:
who won on the handicap this season ?forgive my ignorance mainly play the horses !
By:
Not sure Foyles but I reckon Forest were the biggest surprise over the season.
By:
"Would seriously consider being against: Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa and Notts Forest - all need a few extra points start!"
May need to change my view on Chelsea +12 now with an extra £85m to spend. |
By:
yeah that's what I thought Brian's forest musta gone very close would imagine they would have been + 25- 30 ish
By:
Forest were +47 and won easily

By:
Dundee have lost their best players and have a new manager nobody seems to want. They could go down.
By:
2 price changes on handicap:
12/1 Chelsea +12 18/1 Man Utd +21 Rest still 15/1 |
