Now "shirt fronted" as the Mens Scottish Cup not as the Scottish  Cup.
Somewhat superfluous?!
We all know that we are men.  Laugh

This morning on BBC "Morning" Arsenal were reported as the only English "team" to have won the CL. Not Ladies Team, but "Team".   lolololol.

Men are being cancelled.!  You have to laugh.

My old man played in the Scottish league way back in the fifties and he always maintained that the playing surface at Pittodrie was the best in the country. Something to do with the sand base I suppose (built on links ground).
Yes, a one club city who have a history second to none outwith the O.F.

the 2 dundee pitches were decent, rugby park was magnificent and they ironically went artificial, i suppose it all depends on who is looking after it and many games played, SEVCO won pitch of year trophy in scotland currently going for double with takeover of year

lol  Souness SACKED a groundsman once.  Don't know what the guy did wrong?  Maybe he refused to narrow the pitch?!

My great uncle told me a couple of tales about the great Charlie Tully - one of your historical heroes maybe?
Apparently he scored direct from a corner once but the ref. ruled it out and ordered a retake.  Tully promptly put the retake in too!  Absolutely gospel according to old Uncle Matt.
Just as good was the tale about England v Ireland at Wembley.  Alf Ramsay played at left back opposite Tully on the right.  Apparently, he wound Ramsay up in the tunnel then proceeded to give him an absolute roasting during the match. He had laced him several times and at one stage he left Ramsay trailing in his wake- then went back to collect the ball, having left it behind with Ramsay not even noticing!I
Just have been a bell of a pkayer.
