An initial free pint offer organised around the penultimate home fixture against Chelsea earlier this month was met with a roaring response, and we have ‘doubled down’ to once again thank fans for their support in traditional Newcastle United style.

The gesture will allow fans to raise a glass to a memorable season which has seen us lift domestic silverware for the first time in 70 years, while also ensuring that St. James’ Park is in full voice as the team battle to secure a UEFA Champions League return.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early and soak up the atmosphere, with turnstiles opening at 2pm, ahead of the 4pm kick-off. Two complimentary drinks tokens will be offered to those passing through turnstiles between 2-3pm, remaining valid until 3:30pm.

Tokens can be redeemed for a free draught or bottled beer / cider (subject to location) or a bottled soft drink. The offer is available across the concourse, Platinum Club and Bar 1892, with separate arrangements in place for guests attending hospitality suites.

Newcastle United’s CEO Darren Eales commented: “We’re pleased to once again raise a glass - or two - to supporters this weekend as we bring the curtain down on a season that will be fondly remembered in Newcastle United history.

“Our fans always play their part and the atmosphere at St. James’ Park is simply unrivalled. We encourage everyone to arrive early, take advantage of the drinks offer and back the team until the very final whistle of the season.”

Free drink offer details:

Two tokens per person can be collected when passing through turnstiles between 2-3pm

Vouchers may only be redeemed before 3.30pm on matchday (25 May)

Alcoholic drinks can only be claimed by individuals aged 18+

    Products are subject to availability

(Wine not on list)

Title race, relegation wrapped up without much jeopardy

But there are a lot of good teams, and lots of
good players to see.

Spurs will probably field their strongest team in an age. 4.5 is very tempting, at home, against a stuttering Brighton (albeit some good results of late). I thought Palace might struggle after their win in the cup, yet they banged in 4 in the next game. Yep, I do like that price to end a dreadful season on an even higher note.

got to be a few shocks about with a few teams with nothing to play for bit which one?

cup winners look too big at anfield against a stuttering champions

fulham look big at home v a vulnerable city to big games.

cd everton spoil newcastles party - maybe

Only five teams are yet to have a player reach double figures for goals in the Premier League this season:

◉ Arsenal (9 - Havertz)
◉ Everton (9 - Ndiaye)
◉ Leicester (9 - Vardy)
◉ Manchester United (8 - Fernandes)
◉ Southampton (4 - Onuachu)

Yeah, my worry would be being on the lash and partying hard. However, one could also argue that they are now closer together and more confident.

1.66 for Brighton suggests to me that Spurs are fielding the reserves?

The team that won, should be the team that starts (subject to injury)...FOR THE FANS!

Man United worth a bet 4.8.

They are not 'on the beach' anymore, last chance saloon today for most of the players.

Yes, odds on Spurs were huge last night. Something like 3/1.
