Without Maddison, Kulusevski and Bergvall I struggle to see Tottenham winning this, looks like Son will start as well, shades of Kane starting the CL final when half fit in place of Moura, that didn't go too well. I'd start Ricarlison or Tel.
United to win 2-1 with the obvious Fernandes being the difference maker.
got a feeling utd fans going to pay an heavy price for ANAD,s winning goals against city, and in another 20 games going to be saying HE AINT ALL THAT IS HE ,

Never in doubt consummate execution of rope-a-doping best Final display since the 1970 Brazil WC Winners Zizou just confirmed he will be Spurs manager next season onwards and upwards

Awful game between two poor sides and the winning goal pretty much summed things up.
i hope Ange will stay now, just for his prickly attitude in interviews with the media numpties.

After not winning a single major trophy in their entire footballing careers, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min win one in the same season on their respective clubs

The league table doesn't lie. We've had a stinking season and are still above those two. Dreadful advert for the Premier league. Winning a final with 1 shot on target, 27% possession and needing an own goal to win it, pathetic.
As for nothing since 1980, you're conveniently forgetting our Conference league win, and we played some cracking, entertaining football throughout.

I always cringe (as a Spurs supporter) when substitutes come on in the last 10 minutes to waste some time and Archie Grey was just the sort who could have made a poor pass and conceded a goal. Spence on the other hand has been a revelation this year and should have come on earlier. Spurs got away with it and it was their night in a poor game.

I think the formats of the euro competitions have made the gap from the Champions league to the other two comps even bigger, which showed at the latter end of both Europa and Conference comps. It was so bad last night I think Rangers would've created more chances than Utd or Spurs did.

As an Arsenal fan it's hard to see the noisy neighbours win silverware, when my own team are just falling short for three years on the trot. Hopefully this will spur Arsenal on. The match was dreadful quality wise, the stats say it all, but happy for Ange; a decent manager. I wonder if Levy will open the chequebook and back him next season?

No arguments, it was a terrible game, which only a Spurs' supporter could enjoy. An amazing end to one of the worst seasons my 60+ years has endured. Not quite as bad as '77 though; that one was painful. Good to see neutrals appreciating the win, including a few gooners... respect!
Bad luck Utd, both of us were sh!te and only a fluke own goal (imo) won it. On another day the tables could have easily turned.
Now over to Chelsea, to keep the England/London dream alive.

It was a poor game betwen two pretty average teams. Often in this scenario, the team that plays to their abilities and doesnt try to over-reach themselves ends up winning. I think thats what happened last night.
From the point of view of THFC we are not the 4th worst team in the EPL. Up until December we were basically a 50-50 team. Win one lose one, top half. Probably where the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth are now. Its clear Ange has concentrated on the Europa and that pretty much all of the League results post January have been irrelevant.
That being said, We have played Liverpool 4 times this season and been outclassed in all of them where Slot picked his first xi. Newcastle and Arsenal have taken care of us pretty handily. Thats the top 3 for me. And we are miles off. I know I said we have had a better season than our nearest and dearest. But the fact is the Gooners are a much better team than us.
So next season.. .. the problems remain. Ever since Kane left. Lack of real top class quality will keep us back in the pack I feel. UCL will probably be fun until we come up against Barca, Real etc. So I will enjoy this while it lasts. Tomorrow is another day.

aspro, you're not daft you know full well spurs are in a mess, not as bad as utd by any means but take that win last night away and the fans would be rebelling, it's been a dreadful season and they shouldn't even be in the bottom half of the table let alone bordering relegation

Come back about boxes with a bit more vigour and confidence when you've caught us up, just another 11 league titles to go

No argument here elise, but sadly, for all his efforts, Coco cannot remain in charge if we are to claw our way back into contention. Need to qualify for CL next season as a minimum... and so do Utd.

Spurs were one of the better teams at sjp this season, and we were somewhat fortunate to win. The away game was rest day for spurs.
If Ange has really learnt the art of defending and mixing in a low block then spurs could easily step it up next season.
Tough league though, very few easy games.

I'm still of the opinion it was a munity by the players yhtl. Suddenly tightened up once the final was in reach. They played for each other, not the manager. That's my take on it anyway.

son is done, they need to spend this summer, i'd imagine levy would have got rid of ange had they lost so it will be interesting to see if they let him spend and he's left for a few months, be hard to sack him right now

Also agree that sacking him would be a very difficult choice elise, but a team like Spurs cannot keep a manager who finishes so low in the league. Our worst case scenario should be a European place with so many now on offer. I believe Levy will act.

Err, last 7 games spurs won 5 drew 2 lost none. Enough recent form there without needing to go back to the 70's. 2 league games and last night. Scored 5 let in none.

The h2h had absolutely nothing to do with last night let alone being the difference.
Anyone who watched the match clearly saw what the difference was.
It was actually Ange who proved he was more dynamic than Amorim by being adaptable, as he has been in Europe.
After going one up, he brought up Danso, had 5 at the back, shut up show for 45 minutes as said to the Portugeezer, "What you got?" and as it turned out it was not a lot.
Dopey Fernandes boasting about being the dominant team when clearly Ange let them be dominant, he wanted them to have the ball and possession, and Tottenham barely attacked, game plan was clear, that was the difference.
Amorim brazenly said he wont change his style for nobody, and that cost him a European trophy and the club over 100 million pounds in Europe whilst forcing the club to shop at Lidl's this summer rather than Harrods in the transfer market, his arrogance is astounding. Not to mention the risk of losing the few top players he does have, which really is only Garnacho and Fernandes who are worth anything of note atm.
He's looking like a one dimensional, one trick pony. If he somehow manages to get all the players he wants in this summer, and all the players he want out, and plays his beloved 343 system, he may start to look like at least half the manager he was at Sporting, reality is it will take him several windows to get it right, by that time he'll probably be sacked, he hasn't been willing to compromise in the meantime which is a red flag. Bearing in mind he's only 40 years old, Ange's experience told last night, Amorim's age showed.
Kind Regards.

AMORIN begging to be sacked says he,llgo without a penny compo if utd don't want him didn't want to come this season lost 20 games probably finished 4th bottom and doesn't want to stay
what an absolute farce . almost impossible job getting Newcastle back to top 4 club, completely impossible if the manager only has one failed system in EPL to play with and that system has to be filled with ex amiron sporting players, Portuguese or brazilian
