Not forgetting that Maddison and Solanke went off injured last night. Can't see either of them featuring, neither can I see Porro, Van de Ven or Romero out there. That's 5 changes that are almost certainties.

Obvious that those 5 weren't playing; surprised he didn't give Kinsky a game. Ideal game for him just in case he's needed on Thursday.

With Bentancur, Johnson and Udogie all benched that's 8 changes for Spurs. Hammers will be deeply shamed this weekend if they can't take advantage of that.

With an average age of 22 years & 270 days, Manchester United's starting XI vs. Brentford is the third-youngest any side has ever named for a Premier League match, behind Middlesbrough v Fulham in May 2006 (20y 181d) & Arsenal v Portsmouth in May 2009 (22y 237d).

Today's United team is a statement of intent, the Europa League or bust

Why aren’t Chelsea odds on today? What possible motivation do Liverpool have to go at 100%?

The current odds reflect that already though. Liverpool 100% motivation would be odds on, not 3.15

Liverpool also have their pride and nothing at all to be saving themselves for.

easy for the Chavs, Liverpool classically are on the beach. If I was Slot I'd have sent every first team on holiday only bringing them back for the last home game, can't complain about too many games if you're playing them in meaningless friendlies like that one, at least a friendly for them. Reminds me of Klopp, was always complaining about too many matches, yet dragged Salah all the way over to Copenhagen to play when they'd already qualified. Kind Regards.

Did no one else think the VAR check on Bournemouth's 2nd goal  was a joke?

from the Guardian

Evanilson’s goal was controversial because it looked as though he might have handled the ball. The video assistant referee gave him the all-clear after a lengthy check. “I’ve seen a few images and it looked very different to the decision but they made that decision,” Arteta said.

I know Arteta is as blind as Wenger was but did the Ref and the VAR not see that Evanilson's movement at the back post was severely hampered as he was trying to break free from Odegaard's vice like grip.

All this wrestling at corners is coached by coaches and allowed by Refs and VAR.

Try the same thing at a free kick and it't be a card every time.

palace nothing to play for cup final on the horizon, forest everything to play for in champions league place . forest 5/2 seems big to me

tricky one to bet on . Forest need a win, but CL qualification not in their hands, and they've gone off the boil. Palace don't need the points, but they are flying right now. A score draw would be my guess.

PL qualification is in Forest's hands. They have to play Chelsea (and Chelsea have to play Newc)

Still in Forest's hands. If they win their last 3 then 5th at least is guaranteed. They have Chelsea at home last day and 2 very winnable games before that.
