Hi all,

Slippy has recently updated me on his treatment and unfortunatley he has developed a high tempreture and a localised area of highly sensitive tissue on his left lung.

He needs further antibiotic treatment and a drain put in to drain the liquid and further tests and will remain in ICU for a further 5-7 days.

A bit of a disapointing setback but as always he remains in high sprits and thanks the forum members for their kind words and best wishes.

I will keep uall updated as  i here more from him.

Thanks for your continued support for SB.Cool

Good afternoon everyone, firstly thank you all so much for the  very kind and moving messages wishing me to get better and be fit and healthy again.
Unfortunately I'm not quite there yet but heading in the right direction thankfully.

I won't say what happened as it's all very gory and I don't want to put anyone off their lunch. So although I'm not homebound as such, I am in real time as I can't go out even for a coffee as the fear of falling is horrendous. I have many internal stitching hold things in place and if that got comprised then it would be a very worrying situation.

Thanks once again people and good luck Palace later.

Happy

Deserved result if only for the atmosphere created by the Palace fans.

Hopefully put a spring in your step Slippy.

It was a great result for football

22% possession. That was dire but cited have the money. What were Palace supposed to do. So much for the best coach in the World. He was  completely played at his own game. Palace may have been coached to this win but in Munoz, Eze, Mateta and  Sarr they have players with spirit to play the football we all love.

Note to Arteta it’s about the players. Let them express themselves. Football is meant to be beautiful. Pep and Arteta make it ugly, winning by numbers and ££££.

Palace showed how to out bore them at their own game…..good
