Just looked at the prices on this match and was shocked to see BORO avaiable at around 4/1. Seems a big price for a team who have 4 out of 6  and hoping to secure a promotion play off position.

Leeds on the other hand seem to have the jitters with only 1 win in their last six games (4 draws).

Ill have a bet on Boro at 4/1 and lay Leeds at 1.81.

Any thoughts?

I think Leeds are a tad short myself but I'm not shocked because they are clear top rated in TC on the Asian betting lines, though their rating must be falling.  The Asian lines were rating them a goal a game better than everyone except Burnley for the most part this year.  Given that, hugely surprising that they haven't wrapped up promotion.  After HA still rating them a goal a game better than Boro for this game and Boro arguably the fifth best team in the division.  Borges out for Boro the only known change from the weekend.

I have been surprised how much Leeds have struggled results wise in the last 6 games. They have the best squad in the Championship and most are available tonight with Bamford returning etc.

The issue with Boro's four wins were they were against a struggling Blackburn and 3 bottom half teams (Stoke, Derby, Oxford). They did look more confident at Blackburn and played better than recent games in a fixture they have struggled with in recent years.

As a Boro fan I am concerned with only one fit natural centre half (the young Van Den Berg) and miss Latte Lath (sold) and Doak (recovering from operation) they terrified Championship defences.

Based on xG Leeds should have almost won the Championship by now, but Boro have the third best stats.

Betting is all about getting value, especially in a league like the Championship which is so predictable i.e anything can happen. Dragon may have got some value on his bet in a game where anything could happen. At present though a no bet for me.

Based on improved team spirit and confidence among the Boro camp - I have laid Leeds @ 1.82

Without Team News - My odds for the game are:

Boro 22%
Draw 28%
Leeds 50%

good man analyst- get a few quid on boro at that price -what you got to loose - twenty on 4/1 got to be worth the punt

Clydebank on xG - Leeds are rated 0.59 goals per game better than Boro over this season.

That is worked out on taking the xG differences for both teams away from each other.

40 games have gone in the English Championship so stats will be pretty significant as the sample of games is quite large.

I don't know how 0.59 is applied to odds to work out fair odds.

I wonder if there might be some unders potential in Boro - Leeds game. Leeds are normally pretty gung ho, but they can't score right now, and it's a game with a lot at stake, might be nervy.

Boro's one was clearly offside. Good officiating still though.

Leeds scored again but disallowed again. Leeds scored 3 legitimate goals I believe but only 1-0 up

Unders comes in, after a terrible start. Unfortunately for me I backed 0-0.

Horrendous decisions by the same lino to deprive 2 legitimate goals for Leeds. Could have cost us a lot tonight. The officials in the game are generally useless these days. This guy should be demoted to kids under 11 football at the weekend and give up his time as a PUNISHMENT FOR HIS UTTER MISERABLE performance tonight. Does not deserve to officiate another game in the championship. Total donkey.

to be fair the pundits.comms were talking garbage the 2nd offside is the hardest offside to give one going in one coming out,but he should be only looking at a blue shirt for offside and from where he was could only see red,he ran another yds to keep up with players so blue well in front so guessed, you could see the lino for the 1st one whether it was a because he,d been told he,d messed up,in a later free kick in samew half camera was on him ,up and down, side to side I thought he was taking the free kick for them Laugh
