I just don't get why tv and radio love this guy. He is dreadful to listen to. thick as 2 short planks, and over emphasises everything in a bone-jarringly annoying way.

Doesn't bother me, don't know what all the fuss is about, speaks fluidly, knows what he's talking about and knows when to stop talking when prompted.

Rio on the other hand, is not a good co-commentator, was on the Forest-City game and just sounded awkward, didn't know when to interject and how long for, commentating is real skill, though whatever keeps Savage out of the box must be a good thing. Can't bare Matterface either, spikey, pompous tart.
