Havertz.
What a Holman Hunt he really is. Looks like that Plug from the Bash Street Kids. Gormless Tw@t. If there was any justice Arteta would fine him 2 weeks wages for that performance and tell him to get on his bike back to the fatherland. |

Raya absolutely awful for the pens.
Havertz is done. He is far from the only one to blame but he'll be the first lightning rod for the fans. They have been screaming out for a proper goal scorer for 3+ seasons. They had the chance to sign Isak when he was at Sociedad. Instead you have Arteta thinking he is some genius who can work a player like Havertz into the team When is Salibas contract up? He'll be the next off to Real. Martinellis form has fallen off a cliff. Back to the same old soft Arsenal. |

Arsenal under Arteta are going nowhere.
So deserved for all their playacting and cheating. |

Done my cobblers today on this match..
At 1-0 down went all in on Arsenal, and over 2.5 goals... Kept topping up Don't mind losing, all part of the game, but today just couldn't believe how they construed not to score at least one more after the equaliser To be successful, you need a decent centre forward |

Did Saka not play, you would never no,Melton Mowbray only mentioned it 18 times in the first 45,it’s very odd that Artwata finds the set piece coach a genius, all its doing is causing head injuries and dementia in later life is it worth it.

so you went all in ,knowing they hadn't got a decent centre forward ?
|

1tp,yeah,I'm an idiot
Just thought that between them they'd manage to score 2 or 3 from the chances they were creating Not quite all in, but enough to hurt a little |
|
By:
cant see why any of the few available decent strikers would want to join a club fixated on set pieces and the dark arts ,when they have their pick of clubs to join
|
|
By:
1tp,i agree
Apart from if you're a run of the mill striker and get offered fortunes, why wouldn't you go there? Gonna fall short again this year, imo Arteta seems like a nearly man |

The take outs from that match, are Arsenal need a decent striker urgently. Havertz has been guilty of unbelievable misses in last two matches, including twice putting over the bar unmarked from about 2 yards out. Agree Raya absolutely awful for the pens, he actually crouches down making himself look small and dives far too early; a penalty takers dream. Both traits needs to coached out of him quickly. Playing Sterling is worse than playing with 10 men, he has gone at the game and Arteta needs stop being belligerent and accept this is an experiment gone wrong.
Going to be a tough few weeks for Arsenal until they get players back, although now less matches to play out of both domestic cups. |

Just read some of the other posts...
Totally agree about Raya, diving way too early to make it so easy for the penalty taker to roll it in the other side... If he'd saved them would have got done for no feet on the line and retake anyway, although no VAR so might have got missed... And Rice, ffs, how was he worth that money?... Two completely poor headers when in on goal, and otherwise just passing sideways |

ars didn't deserve to win, must be a question on whether arteta will allowed to stay there much longer given the spend / return
|

arteta has took 5 yrs and 720 million to end up with jourghino trying to feed hacertz and sterling, even Chelsea give that up as a plan 43 yrs ago
