Because it's an effort based system, take away the incentive to get
back to super high levels and the levels are gone. Plus of course it takes so much out mentally and physically to have had 2 epic battles in past 2 years to win title and sometimes you can't get back there for a while |

because city play on the edge,keeping the ball,back their passing right from the keeper if the confidence goes throughout the team ,it collapses easily and quickly.city played more hopefgul 60 yds punts today than they played all last season,they can only play one way so not easy to see how the confidence comes back
