Everything now hinges on the upcoming doubles and blanks
By:
The 4 matches involving the fa cup semi finalists in week 34 and the man city v c palace match , some of the 4 matches could stay in week 34 ,some teams doubling in week 33 and some blanking in 34 and man city v c palace in week 36 .

Looks like he hasn’t posted for weeks. Still playing so he’s alive!

Word is, he's on a 2 month ban....

----you-have-to-laugh-- How many points?... ish.

1680, got midfield sorted, but rest playing rubbish now.
Still looking for new management, around 2.3 million. |

I need the 3 week break as all my player's are injured
![]() |
By:
I'm out of cards to play.. I've never paid for a transfer but I'm thinking that's gonna have to change.
By:
It's tough enough at the best of times but if you haven't got chips left for the next few weeks it's going to be crippling IMO, I think you need all of the wildcard, BB and free hit to negotiate it.
![]() |
By:
TBH, I was feeling befuddled with all those chips. I decided to get rid as soon as. Now just concentrate on my playing 11, try to get the cheapest bench... My goal at this point of the season is to avoid bottom 3...
![]() |
By:
It might not be a disaster having no chips , there could possibly be only 2 games moved from 34 to 33 depending on tv needs , a long shot but southampton and or port vale going through would mean less doubles , with the fa cup fixtures and no replays now there are hardly any doubles now anyway
By:
Its confirmed now that all games postponed in week 34 go into week 33 , so up to 8 teams double in 33 and blank in 34
By:
Yeah. And Chelsea and Arsenal likely to win their ties so will probably be 8 teams doubling. Good news for chips. That Leeds and West Ham tie is the key one. Whichever one wins unlocks lots of cheap gems with great fixtures too.

RIP those in my mini league who have used their free hits

Yes , If Arsenal , Chelsea , Liverpool and West Ham go through , then Arsenal Newcastle Chelsea Brighton Liverpool C Palace West Ham and Everton double , Week 33 could be ok as some could have a lot of players from those teams but week 34 will be the problem , im going wildcard 32 bench boost 33 free hit 34 . also man city and c palace should double in 36 so triple captain haaland probably then
By:
Enzo Fernandez dropped by Chelsea for ‘crossing a line’
Vice-captain to be unavailable for next two matches after putting his future at Stamford Bridge in doubt in two separate interviews |
By:
A wildcard with 15 doublers is the plan after tomorrows game , 3 arsenal 3 chelsea 3 man city if they win then 6 from the others likely
looking at haaland pedro bowen up front if west ham win |
By:
Man City have a double now but maybe not as straight forward as it could be , Arsenal at Home and Burnley away , but Burnley game will be just before the FA Cup Semi Finals so maybe a few rested if they lose to Arsenal
By:
Arsenal losing has made a big difference , assuming West Ham win then its 3 Man City Chelsea C Palace West Ham Everton if you dont want any Burnley if you want 15 doublers for week 33 , free hit 34 , but then you have players from those teams 35-38
By:
Having players for double games is important, the problem though is when you see some of those games as tough games and don't see your players scoring points and of course looking further down the road and then perhaps having to get rid later on.
Chelsea for example, United isn't a good game for them, Brighton is better as I'd always see sides being able to score against them, but it's not the greatest double. But having said all that do you just take the attitude of, It's a double so put those players in regardless and hope for the best. |
By:
Arsenal and Newcastle not doubling means as it stands i have 10 for week 34 , so could now free hit 33 and save wildcard and bench boost for later
By:
Leeds winning means leeds away to man utd and bournemouth away to arsenal in 32 if wildcard then bench boost , looks like free hit 33 now and save wildcard and bench boost

Are the games for weeks 32, 33, 34 & 35 now officially settled?

The matches have been scheduled now Tuesday 21st April Brighton v Chelsea , Wednesday 22nd April Bournemouth v Leeds and Burnley v Man City , I expect Haaland will be by far the most picked captain but could be a tight game v Arsenal and rested against Burnley maybe , but who are the other options , Pedro and Palmer but there could be rotation there as well

Bowen assist hat trick

By:
and got his defcon and a bonus point...Nice

By:
would have been four if Traore could have finished another chance off, but as soon as you saw it was him ....you knew he'd miss.
By:
Yes good result for Bowen , he is miles clear in dcs for forwards . Got in Bowen as he had good fixtures in 32 and 34
By:
Another result bournemouth scoring , so many have multiple Arsenal defence
By:
Yes, but most involve Timber who's not played, so get away with one today.

6 teams have 2 games in week 33
![]() Then those same 6 teams have no games in week 34 I'm going to use mass transfer for week 33 to set me up for 33 and 35 till the end. For week 34 I'm going to use my free hit. What is your strategy? |
By:
I was looking into the abyss with, aside from Bowen, the way my team was going this week, being a non wildcard player in 32 I needed blank Chelsea players and a blank from Haaland as well as a city clean sheet and miracle from Guehi, all of which happened which dug me a little out of a hole.
Problem is though, if you don't use a wildcard in 32, you need to be ahead of the wildcard players in that week to make up for the advantage they will have in 33 when they use the BB, providing they've got it. Anyway, free hit 33, nothing 34, wildcard 35 then BB after that, probably 36. |
