It is a good point about a player being rested , so best to have a team still in the title or champions league place race for the double .
By:
Why home and away btw? The season is congested enough surely.

Not gonna lie.. I've been doing some serious tossing and turning, last few nights. Trying to get my head around why my worm hasn't turned..
Anyways, tweaked a few things, cut the deadwood and changed some tactics. I still believe. Good luck people. |

The horse has already bolted, Emit! We are just making up the numbers and playing for a bit of pride!
By:
Oh, I know and it's entirely pride... Last place or even bottom 3 would be totally unacceptable..
By:
Agreed, mate. The final push now.
By:
19th would be good! |
By:
Pssst... He's back, on the t forum...
By:
Good for him.
I'm so tempted to sell haaland, but haven't enough transfers to take advantage of the windfall that brings. Looked totally disinterested at sjp. |
By:
No Haaland again (hoping he has a quiet game).
Was surprised to see Eck play (and score) the other night. He was in form before his little setback and scored on his comeback so he seems to be in a good place. Burnley not the greatest in defence so I have made Eck captain and am trebling up! I get the point about waiting for a double game week but even then you still have to make the right selection. He just feels right! I changed my mind about Ollie, rightly or wrongly. Still in my team though. Thought about bringing in Semenyo in his current great place but didn’t bother. Being a frugal Scot can’t quite accept spending the points! ![]() G/L all. |
By:
I bought in Sanchez (Chelsea keeper) before his horror show on Wednesday..
![]() Captained my Villa midfielder.. Still full of optimism but braced for failure.. ![]() |
By:
Good luck with Ekitike Triple Captain LH.
I seen Incredribbles has 4 City players when Semenyo transferred. With Guehi in his team also, and after today's breaking news, its possible he could have 5 Man City for the Wolves home game if he can hold off on transfers until then. Hard to have them all start though together though. |
By:
Ta. Hopeful but this game is so fickle. If Burnley don’t counter attack will he get any space? If they park the bus and Pool don’t score early enough will Burnley attack at all? Oh the joys!

Do you think real managers go through the agonies we do?
![]() |
By:
... Are you saying we're not real managers? ![]() |
By:
Good luck with Ekitike, LH.
You can lead a horse to water……. ![]() |

By:
I get your point and thanks for the G/L.

The next two weeks for me are going to be tough, being first and foremost a United fan I can't have 3 city players in my team when we play them because I want to be against City in everyway, I can just about leave Haaland in there but not captain and the other 2 will haave to be on the bench.
Next week against Arsenal will be a similar problem. |
By:
A good manager would play his best eleven on merit!
A heavy loss and loads of points sat on your bench would be a double kick in the knackers! |
By:
Pointless loyalty in this game I think Duffy. We would forgive you for keeping City players in your team I am sure. After all they’re not playing against United on here.

I can't do it, to paraphrase Logan Roy from Succession....I'm just not a killer!!
By:
I see a lot of teams with 5 man city players for next week when guehi is confirmed , probably targetting the wolves game , i wonder how many realise they will have to take 2 out with their next 2 transfers , also man city have 2 european games either side of the wolves game , could be a few rested for the wolves game
By:
Yes, but they can leave all 5 in for Wolves provided they don't make any transfers which is what some will try to do, the big problem is that they are long odds to get all five starting, it's a lottery with their midfield now as to who will and won't start.
By:
Many still have Foden, he is a streak player, the minute you sniff that h'se drying up it's time to get rid which I did a few weeks back, snag is Cherki has been frustrating for me as his replacement
![]() |
By:
Good point on Foden. When I have had him he has dried up.
0-0 will do me but 0-1 with a goal ( somehow ) for Matheus would be better. ![]() |
By:
Yes its the rotation for the wolves game , i just have haaland now , too much rotation now for man city with all the competitions
By:
Matheus isnt playing is he , somehow is a long shot
By:
FFS, he’s not even on the bench!
. What chance have you got? |
By:
Got the flu
By:
Ty. Wish he’d told FF profiles!

By:
Interesting to see how the great Pep deals with this setback. Also interesting to see that Carrick has exchanged Mbeumo for Cunha, instead of playing both together.
By:
I shall stick with Seymeno and ditch Foden.
You’ve made a good decision (so far) Duffy with your two benched City players. A Dorgu clean sheet sat on the bench too. |
By:
How many Dorgu points on the bench!!
By:
You can't have everything, I'll settle for this alright
![]() |
By:
Ha ha, taking one for your team by benching dorgu
By:
Yeah, Carrick owes him one!
By:
Let duffy joy be unconfined. Well done.
![]() |
By:
Dorgu you absolute bstard
By:
Dorgu should be in every team, sometimes you can get a defender that plays attacking on the wing but you don't normally see a guy listed as a defender that ends up playing centre forward...cheap as well!!!
![]() |
By:
I might get him in. Certainly earned his name in the starting eleven. Not many attacking defenders these days.
