Yes that's true but Palace have two hard games though, Everton and City and with probably a euro cup final to rest players for, you just don't know what palace players will play, look at that performace today against Bournemouth??? and most players already have 2 or 3 city players.

I stand corrected, most transferred in .....Cherki, Haaland, Gyokeres, O'Reilly, Sarr, Mateta, Munoz, Gibbs White, Lacroix, Saka.

In that order...so far.

I dont see any value in the Crystal Palace players , I expect full strength in Europe and to rest them against Everton so potentially just a single game away to Man City , Haalands EV will be massive so this is the week for the chasers to take a chance and go against him .

A poor weekend for me. Bench boost played and so far have seven players who’ve scored one point or less!

I think that the squads may disprove the theory that its not just great minds that think alike
Might have a similar squad but who to put on the bench (4 diffs) & quite a few transfers (3 diffs) could separate things big time still a lot to take in

Transfers could be valuable for the last week as many teams will rotate with nothing to play for and usually get a lot of team news in advance , not sure who you mean as man city do not play burnley , triple captain will be on haaland for the double , they have to get a few goals in case arsenal slip up , haaland doku and cherki

Haaland TC Cherki and Doku , no Crystal Palace , maybe on a free hit crystal palace might be ok but most players will only play 1 game , also in week 38 i doubt any of them will play and that is in addition to the other rotation , i think week 38 will be chaos .

Incredibbles now favourite for the the win in league. I kind of went all in on Palace and Brighton transfers , had 0 Arsenal in team, didnt pay off. The Haaland Triple Captain doing great for those who held on to it for this, well done Stewpot.

Dayveea had bad luck having 2 surprise no shows on bench boost, despite 0 flags in team.

It is far from over Tribal, I got the bit of luck last weekend,  still 2 to go
you only need to gain 10pts a week for just 2 weeks or 1 week of another mess up by me
Both are certainly achievable & Dayveea not yet out of this with the right results

Further examination of the Forum 2nd Half league
may provide a truer reflection for next season,
as it takes on board lessons learnt (gulp) from the early half of this season ????

However the future may prove we still make new mistakes just as easily as old ones
Luck does play a significant part in this comp

Does this site to a World Cup fantasy league? I’m sure I’ve never done one through them. If they do I will set a league up. If not it may have to be The Sun version if we want a game. I know The Sun offends quite a few on here. We don’t need to know why or your thoughts on the owner, editor etc!

The problem with the fifas one are you can change captains players etc and no early deadline , so unless you are online at kick offs and during the night you have a massive disadvantage and not much chance as the others will have usually 3 chances of a good captain , always give them a miss

Fifa one has been going since 2006 , last time it was the captains that caused a lot of confusion as the rules were not clear as to whether you could change captain after every game or every day , they have a power captain chip as well , whoever scores most points in that game week is your captain .

Yeah you can stick with your captain or change him if you are not satisfied.

Potentially change each day, as games are spread out, but can't go back once a captain is discarded, until next game week.

Power captain saves a lot of grief.

Put krupi on bench, of course he scores, rayan or krupi

Team selection this week is going to be very testing.

Arsenal have won the title and been on the ****. Their game is meaningless.

City have lost the title so their game is also meaningless but it is Pep's last match.

Villa, already guaranteed Champions League football next season, have just been on the **** in Turkey.

Chelsea can't improve their league position but they have a new manager watching.

United, guaranteed Champions League football, can't improve their position.

Then we have players selected for the World Cup not wanting to get injurey.

Chelsea can improve their place and need a win to guarantee europe unless brentford overtake on goal difference which is unlikely , might even get europa league if other results go their way

There's going to be lots of fantasy teams with only 5 or 6, 7 players playing, unless you've got multiple transfers left or happy to take a few hits and then try to get all players in from meaningful games even then there's going to be an element of guesswork involved.

Burnley v Wolves the wooden spoon trophy , i suppose they will be trying to avoid last place and i think its 2 million a place
also doubt it would look good for the fans players resting after the season they have had

Looks like Man City are resting a lot today , Haaland O'Reilly and Cherki not starting , some teams will have a lot of players not playing with the Arsenal players out as well as other rotation

You've got to assume the site will crash with minutes to go with potentially millions all hitting it at once, expert FPL Harry et al getting caught out isn't a good look.

Agreed, Arsenal are on the brink of of history with the game next week, no problem for a fantasy player starting one of their regulars for a free shot providing you have a starter ready and waiting on your bench but there is no realistic chance of an Arsenal regular being anywhere near starting today.

Yeah, I've perfected finding loser after loser on the gee geez, it's a piece of cake

The most obvious multi team player , the lowest score possible is -2812 , the 2 lowest players have -2795 each , they are the same player with 2 teams , how sad is that , both teams messed up the same week and only did a -60 and both had 1 player somehow score 1 point so they didnt even manage the worst possible score even though it is very easy to do , just pick 15 players that are transfered out to other leagues etc and then just do 20 transfers each week .

Cheers guys, I benefitted from Stewpot missing deadline but if he'd had vice captained Bruno early he'd have still clinched 1st. Unlucky though.

Overall was surprised, didn't expect to make up the gap. It could have been any of the 4/5 leaders who clinched it, was very tight.
