They have had a tough time with injuries, of course all clubs suffer, but they did not invested heavily in players (a new stadium being the priority) and have been down to the bare bones for a couple of months. Indeed only four of the side that lost at City at the weekend could be considered as nailed on first team players.
Three home games against Brentford, Everton and Fulham are must wins really now. The two away games are at Wolves and West Ham and they might be able to nick a point or two.
Whatever, have loved seeing them in the top league and fingers crossed, they might just do it.

I've a running spreadsheet with all relegation threatened teams fixtures in it. 9 or 10 points might do it, 11 or 12 definitely.
Can't believe Liverpool allowed C Palace to escape the mire...
Really need 4 or 5 of our 12 injured regulars back...hopefully resting some of them against City will give us more choices in those upcoming far more important games.
Whatever happens I am so proud of my team and delighted that so many other neutral fans are cheering for them to survive.
Come On You Hatters!!!!

needed to win last night...looking tougher by the minute. they need other results to go their way and to get someting from their two remaining games away to West Ham and home toFulham.
The Fulham game could be massive on the last day of the season. They need Burnley and Forest to loose today and Forest are away at Sheff United

Luton will be ruing those comebacks against them at home. Arsenal & Bournemouth, especially the latter has done them I feel

They are 10/1 to win the championdship which seems big to me .
Any news on wether they have made changes to the squad that went down or are they still the same team with the same manager . If so 10/1 looks massive.

Edwards needs to start right now with a solid back four. Win a couple of 1-0 and become hard to beat again.
No point in attacking the league if you are going to continually make silly mistakes and concede sloppy goals.
Have all the defenders they need fit again, plus a couple of new faces.
No excuses from now on.
Have faith Dragon. I have just gone in again at 7 for promotion.

Edwards totally unprepared fot the Championship, it's more abour guts and guile, not tinkering with the team.
Left his best midfielders and goal scorer on the bench today after winning on Wednesday.
Done a good job for the Club but seems lost now.
Sad really. Just goes to show that you can never rest on your laurels in this game.

Yes, he cocked up today by resting too many of Wednesdays winning team. Even so, we were the better team for the first 30 mins until Boro scored a very well worked corner.
We were very good in our last four home games (Watford, Sunderland, WBA and Cardiff) despite only gathering 7 points from them. Admittedly we were awful at Coventry.
Other major issue today was not having Doughty available and losing Bell at half time...both left footed defenders that we don't have replacements for.
We lost Kabore, Barkley, Ogbene, Lakonga and Osho in the close season so it was never gonna be as easy this season as people seemed to expect.
As for Tony Mowbray...do you not think he was just there supporting the team he captained and managed???
Getting rid of Edwards would be amazingly stupid!Yes, he cocked up today by resting too many of Wednesdays winning team.Even so, we were the better team for the first 30 mins until Boro scored a very well worked corner. We were very good in our last f
Its time clubs stopped sacking managers on a whim anyway
Derby's Paul Warne is the longest serving manager in the Champ at 2 years ffs, need to stick with them and create a culture at the club and that starts from the owners in my opinion

not surprising but sad to see after doing such a good job at the club prior to this season...
was virtually confirmed by some sources a few days ago so not quite sure why it dragged on a bit..

Must have been under terrible pressure to turn things round, looked awful on TV the other night, probably at his wits end a for his sake I hope he takes a good long rest for the rest of the season. He did well for Luton until the start of this season. Maybe a bit of over confidence at the club to go straight back, that has certainly gone now.
The midfield they were left with after Barkley, Lokonga and Ogbene went needed strengthening but the club seemed to think otherwise and have paid the price now. Edwards has tinkered with the side a lot, played players out of position, left it too late to put subs on and has hardly given some members of the squad (Joe Taylor) for one a kick. He started with a back four at QPR on Monday and I thought they looked better organised for it.
On balance I think it is for the best, just hope the new manager has a clear out and brings a few new ones in. It is needed.
