On current form you would think not, but keep in mind Chelsea are a bit of a bogey team; in fact, it was Chelsea that coined the phrase '3-point-lane'
By:
ive backed a home win at 2.28

THFC have played two of the top teams so far this season, squeaked a draw with Arsenal and you'd have to say were lucky to get 3 points from Liverpool. I'm worried about tonight's game, Chelsea are no mugs and they've played well against the top teams so far. COYS!
By:
To be fair to Spurs, Arsenal were pretty fortunate to get anything out of that game, both gifted goals to earn the draw, but I do agree with Liverpool, they were on top until the first sending off.

Chelsea on current form are not a top team. They are 13th in the league winning 3 games in 10.
won 2 in 7 and that was v Fulham and Burnley and not beaten a team higher than 12th spurs are going very well with 4 out of 4 home wins, they are also undefeated in 10 with 8 wins and 2 draws. to me spurs at home at 2.36 looks a decent bet |
By:
Chelsea's finishing has been dreadful
The gap between the 2 is deserved but Chelsea look better than that, up to their finishing. I think they are 2nd in table on xg.... |

I can't back bad putters in golf, so dont
back poor finishers in footy! |
By:
a poor finish by shearer, wright ,kane doesnt eqwuate to poore finish by sterling etc, their not strikers its like expecting shearer to make saves allinson would make, their just finishes of non strikers,
a forwards tackle as the saying goes wouldnt have though chelski would start with a recognised striker |
By:
Jackson looked a decent striker but has been poor
in EPL. Sterling, well yeah, but he has his moments. Palmer is supposed to be a striker too. Scored 13 from 10. Scorers Name Played Goals Raheem Sterling 10 3 Nicolas Jackson 9 2 Mykhailo Mudryk 8 2 Cole Palmer 8 2 Axel Disasi 9 1 Armando Broja 3 1 Carney Chukwuemeka 2 1 |
By:
is that broja fit/.been on bench he,s at least looked like a striker/ a handful on occasions ?,
and theyve held on to him a while now |
By:
Dunno,
Spurs replace Kane with richarlison and are banging them in for fun... Top Scorers Name Played Goals Son Heung-Min 10 8 James Maddison 10 3 Dejan Kulusevski 10 2 Cristian Romero 10 2 Micky van de Ven 10 1 Pape Matar Sarr 10 1 Richarlison 10 1 Emerson Royal 7 1 |
By:
If we had Kane back, instead of Richarlison, I'd fancy us to really have a go at this league. With Richarlison totally out of sorts, we do not have a recognised striker at all.
By:
Chelsea are better against the good teams that don't sit back. This should suit Chelsea, although duno who scores for them
By:
Richarlison is a decent player but been out
of form, and down on confidence. Son is a striker, shirley, albeit a bit more deep lying. |
By:
Son is great, but he can't head, costing him countless more goals. Add that to his game he'd be a #9 for sure. Can't have a striker who is weak in that department.
By:
Richarlison, on the other hand, is a great header when on form
By:
Under 2.5 got to be a fair shout too at 2.24 - given both sides could have problems attacking.
By:
The market doesn't fancy Spurs at all and it thinks Chelsea are (slightly) the better team. I still wouldn't be tempted to back Spurs at 2.36 though.

2.40 Suggest no udoggie and Charliestown starts Well if he ever does!!! ![]() |

Spurs a big price today and a must bet. Chelsea have mostly been awful in 2023. Overrated Poch will be trying hard tonight of course, but I expect Postecoglou to have his measure tactically and a full of confidence Spurs will win this easily.

By:
gone back in taking the bigger price

Expect Them to be Shorter when the Team News comes out at 1900 Hr's
By:
Udogie is a doubt, so expect Emerson Royal at left back. No great shakes, although I'd prefer Udogie.
Can't see Bentancur returning for a start yet so midfield unchanged with Sarr keeping his place. He is yet to drop Richarlison, but could do in favour of Brennan Johnson. Unlikely, but possible. Best I can give do for an early Spurs team guess lads. |
By:
have done sevey.
Chelsea 6 points off relegation spot and 12 points off top 4 says it all really. |
By:
Goonna play the overs here 2.5 goals
Spurs hopefully roll them over 3 nil clean |
By:
I agree, Chelsea look too short to me. Still not convinced by them at all. That being said they surely can't go on being an average mid-table side with all the money they've spent can they?
By:
Like that 1 Son CLEAN

By:
that expected points table would suggest the poster thinking he,d cracked the handicap with villa and spuds has a bit more work to do yet
By:
the goal scoring debate reminds me of the boro when sometimes we played with we called the mini midgets up front, barmby, junhino, and higgnet,
fans loved higgy but he wasnt for me but scored goals from midfield but now and again he played up front as a striker and when it became his job to score goals as a supposed striker he couldnt hit a cows arris with a banjo, same player, same skills, shot etc but the menntality changes when it becomes your job |
